Matthew Asuncion (Web Designer and Editor) is a rising junior at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. Matthew attended NBTB 2017 as a Year 2 student and has returned every year since. Matthew was part of the team that prototyped the multimedia project “Since Parkland.” As part of UBC’s Bachelor of Media Studies program, Matthew covers everything from K’naan to Netflix comedy specials. He also edited the inaugural issue of Beacon: The UBC Journal of Media Studies and is a staff member for The Ubyssey.
