Sydney Lee (Fact Checker and Research Editor) is a rising sophomore at York High School in Elmhurst, Illinois. She will be a staff writer this year on her school’s publication, This Is York. She enrolled in her school’s beginner journalism summer-school class and developed a love for reporting. Aside from writing, Sydney is passionate about playing club and school soccer, playing violin in the orchestra, and co-founding a nonprofit organization, Patchedin.
